VOIP
Reach a Higher Level of Productivity

Voice Over Internet Protocol is a technology that gives you the capability to make voice calls using a broadband Internet connection rather than an analog phone line.

VOIP converts your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet. If you are calling a regular phone number, the signal is converted to an analog signal before it reaches the other caller.

We plan and design your phone system to work the way you want it

VOIP allows you to make a call from a computer, a special VOIP phone, even a traditional phone connected to a special adapter. Furthermore, wireless “hot spots” in locations such as airports, parks, and cafes allow you to connect to the Internet and may enable you to use VoIP service wirelessly.

Bluetooth

VOIP phones can be used anywhere you have a wired Internet connection. If you have multiple offices, they all act as if they were in a single office.

Calling between locations is the same as calling the phone the phone in the next room. If an employee needs to work at home temporarily, they can take their phone home and use it as if they were in the office.

Configuration, maintenance, and system updates for these systems is complimentary

Computer Affair encourages the use of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software integration for your phone system. CRM improves efficiency by managing all your company’s relationships and interactions with your customers.

We can set it up so when any of your customers call, their profile will appear on your screen. This saves the employee time and effort to find the customer’s profile and pull it from your existing system.

With outgoing calls, instead of having employees dial numbers into your phone app, you can set it up so that phone numbers within the CRM are clickable via the click-to-call feature. Not only does it make dialing faster, but it also significantly reduces misdial instances because it removes the human element in the process.

You, as the business owner, can gather a great amount of data from usage of the phone system. You will have the capability to track who talked to which customer, the time of the call, duration of the call, and other similar information. If you have call recording functions, it will even be easier to pinpoint which call recording you need to listen to when investigating incidents.

We use top of the line  equipment from Polycom, Cisco, Yealink, and others. Our desktop phones work seamlessly to utilize Bluetooth headsets, cordless phones, specialty conference devices, and adapters to connect to fax as well as  stamp machines, and other analog phone devices.

We typically use the following CRM softwares: ZOHO, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Hubspot.
